I never thought that I will work on wiki, it was a new experience in the beginning I was scare now since I have the hang of it I pretty much like it .It was hard, and I had consumed so much time on it to make my WIKI assignment impeccable.

 

Blogging

When I started professor Hamon class at the beginning  I was kind a panic because all the stuff was new for me and I was behind sometimes, I think most of people not going to jump to do something if it new. As the class moving slowly I had a hang of it and I pretty like it. I had so much enjoyable moment to experience something new, basically most of the English class that I had before we don't do that kind of material most of the time it was boring but with professor Hamon I really enjoy been in his class and learn all the good stuff form literature. Blogging was fun we can get ideas from each of us by sharing our taught the student always had a great post in their blog

The paper that I am writing about is  a short story in  Revelation. For the pass couple weeks I’ve been working very hard, and devoted so much time on it. So it better be good after the evaluation i need to fix my APA, I am hoping when I fixe my APA I got everting else correct .I'll be focusing  more on my WIKI article. We don't have much time left we all have to dedicate ourselves to accomplish our goal for this quarter, best wishes to everyone.

Death

Death

Recently my family had experience death it was so painful to see one of our close sibling vanished one think I know I wasn’t ready for her lost. Family means too much and friends are too valuable to be absent in our lifetime. Life is too short to put off, sharing with people how much they really mean to you and how much their happiness is all what you objective in life. Don’t wait until is too late to tell someone how much you care ,love because when they’re gone no matter how loud you shout and cry they won’t hear you anymore.

Death what is death when I think about death it’s drive me crazy I know for fact we all  have to experience it  but it is  a bad experience I don’t want to say more about it he makes me to emotional.

Myth in my life !!!

when i was young i believed in witches. Every year during Nov. 1 to Nov 2 i would listen for the loud music they would play in the streets outside my house. They wore bright colorful costumes that glowed in the dark and people would surround them singing ,shouting,and dancing. It frightened me so much that I would hide so that wouldn't take me away like I thought they were doing with the neighbors. Eventually I figured out they were just a band celebrating the day of the dead.

Dickinson

Emily Dickinson was an artist, an artist of metamorphosis who located herself quite consciously in a female world of myth and magic.Emily Dickinson does not consider in the major American myths, she still fights with them and their impact on the consciousness and the unconscious. Therefore Dickinson is a very American poet. According to my reading, Dickinson does not reflect nationality a state of mind. Instead she perceives nationality as personified in certain myths and structures of power and gender to which one will have to relate in order to change them and make room for women writers within the powerful Americanism of myth.

 “Success is Counted Sweets” written by Emily Dickinson symbolize  how success place a advanced value to people who tend to desire things more when they don’t have them ,when you achieve that success it is more meaningful to them because they work hard to accomplish that success. 

A symbol for someone you know.

I asked my aunt what did she has to symbolize. She said her first bicycle was a great memory that triggered a lot qualities that she didn’t know she had. When she first got her bike all she felt was joy. It made her realize that she had a drive to succeed because she needed to learn how to ride and there were no other options for her. Also she was taught how to appreciate things given to her and to always try her best at in life. Her bicycle was a symbol of hard work, perseverance and a reminder to always appreciate the little things in life that can bring joy.

Symbol in my own life.

When I was a teenager my dad made a special ring for me, it wasn't not any type of ring because he made it with love and great quality materials. I never took of that ring until it was too small for me, I couldn't enlarge it because my dad is no longer alive to do so. If somebody else do the work I will never consider it  the same so I am waiting until my daughter turn 12 or 16 to pass it over to her .That ring symbolize the love that my dad had for me and how spoiled i was, since I am the only girl in the family .

I am not a fan of poem but for the sake of this blog it took me couple of hours  to finally find a poem  that  intringue me ,it tells you how to make it throught the difficult times and make the best of it.

Psychological Criticism !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Psychological criticism is an approach that interprets writings, authors, and readers through a psychological point of view.  You could also evaluate the characters, and examine their motivations and actions with an understanding of psychology in mind. 

Critical Perspectives!!

Upon my researches I found that   Critical Perspectives help student develop controls of their critical, creative and active thinkers. Students will be able to achieve their  goal by engaging with a variety of works.  Which will make it informal on the student's' writing of critical, analytical, argumentative and persuasive essays.It also teaches students to explain, develop and elaborate on ideas they have personally formed. One of the best key that i found  to be  success in critical perspectives is to  maintain a balance between free thinking and organized thought.

Wiki!!!

Editing on Wikipedia seems to me very complicated, for the past couple of weeks I plan to start writing my article still not getting anywhere, the other day I was supposed to edit a paragraph on my article. I totally changed everything until professor Hamon taught me if the paragraph it’s correct don’t change it but I  had a couple mistakes so I had to fix it, other than that I will be completely out of the box.

One of her famous poets that I admire is A thought went up on my mind to- day because it’s reminded me every single day whe i tought about something and flow up in my mind .

 WIKIPEDIA

During my research on the WIKIPEDIA, I discorded Wikipedia is not an effective source or research-based for academic learning.I came to an understanding that Wikipedia is an open website where anyone has access to write any post, whether it is true or make believe. Therefore, the information there is not always credible or reliable.I now understand why most of  the instructor at South University don't want us to use Wikipedia for research paper. I plan to write an article on the WIKIPEDIA  to express my opinion on a particular short story.  I am confident that my article will be a great use to other viewers.

What symbolize me !!!

If anybody had a trouble to find a bandage ,well they can look in my purse or bag and found my little first aid kit.Wherever i go i have to have my little kit with me.It would symbolize that i am always ready for any small injured that i can handle , my mother use to tell me whenever my brother or cousin had a little cut in their legs or arm while they where playing football  i was the one to give theme the fist aid they need.Now that i am a mother i realize that little kit it's beneficial for my own family that i love so much .

The theme for this story is terror that arises from the complexity that shape human destiny.Came up with fear that is actually responsible for one of the death in the story. Character of Yellow Wallpaper

 The Narrator’s husband, John is a physician whose practice keeps him very busy and often away for home. I learn that he is a man of science, with no patience for anything that he cannot quantify. He is incapable of taking his wife’s opinion seriously. He is also genuinely concerned for his wife’s health and having decided upon the rest cure developed by Dr. S. Weir Mitchell, he commits himself to enforcing it wholeheartedly with disastrous results.

wiki Revelation

 I learned that Mrs. Turpin is the protagonist in the story. While she went to the doctor's office with her husband. she thinks that she is superior than everybody else. She met with a little girl named Mary Grace that put Mrs Turpin in her shoes by a comment she made about her.The girl got angry threw a book at her and thought the girl had a message for her from God.Why Mrs Turpin would think God sent her a message, while she's being so judgmental towards people.

Research
The story that captive my attention in O'Conner is the  Revelation.I don't think no one read that story yet.So far i read a little version on Wikipedia  where Mr and Mrs Turpin was waiting in the doctor's waiting room which was very small.She  felt superior to black people decided not to seat  on the available chair where a little boy who had a running nose lying across the seat.Find a pleasant woman to have a conversation  with that woman came with her daughter that was sturdy  a book as a title of  Human Development. As Mrs Turpin was having a nice conversation with the pleasant woman her daughter star getting anger of their conversation .She throws the book at Mrs Turpin, the daughter lunges across a table and clutches Mrs Turpin's throat. Mrs Turpin think that the girl owned  her an explanation.Thus i think it's a pretty interesting story, i want to do more research about it so that i can have a better understanding how to interpret it in Wikipedia hope it will be fun. !!!

Bruce Willis who was the main character known as lieutenant Walters.Walter and his US Navy Seal team sent to Nigeria to evacuate an American Doctor and two Christian missionaries where the country had a civil war.What really interesting in this movie is when lieutenant Walter desobei the order from the general decided to take a few Nigerian civilian group in charge to lead  them to Cameron where peace in remain. They where followed by a group of Nigerian army tried
 to find the son of the president to kill him .But in Walter group  the son of the president was hidden from the Nigerian army unknown by the US Navy team. They fought day and night without knowing why they were being followed, until they finally found out they had the president son, and the US Navy group decided to protect him. They lost many of the US Navy including civilians before they crossed the Cameron border. The meaning of this movie is that  American soldierss will always sacrifice their own lives, so the rest of the World  could remain in peace.

Hello classmate and instructor my name is Vanessa sajous  i am a mother of  4 years old daughter and a 13 months old boy  i am really interesting in the nursing field that give me the opportunity to pursue my career to have a bachelor in the nursing program by June 2016 i should be over with all my prerequisites.
